| OBJECTIVE:
Upon completion
of the course, participants will be able to:
1.Understand the
application of Rules of origin and the tendency of its reform;
2. Recognize the
main frames of international & regional rules of origin, the
radical content and the differences in application.;
3. Get familiar
with the determinant measures and the practical techniques concerning
rules of origin;
4. Exchange the
knowledge an experience in the determination of origin. |
| SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
1. Middle or high
rank officers of Customs who are responsible for rules of origin
or relevant training from Asia Pacific countries or Customs regions;
2. Preferably
a basic university degree with at least 5 years of working experience
in Customs matters and proficient in English.
3. The participants
should be under 45 and in good health. |

| REQUIREMENTS ON COMMUNICATION MATERIAL |
| 1. Content |
Participants are
required to prepare a case study relevant to training topic so that
knowledge and experience could be exchanged with other participants. |
| 2. Instruction on print
and
delivery |
The printed materials
( case study) should be sent to our course coordinator two weeks
before class via post or fax (086-021-58436195),and its electronic
files should be sent to train_scc@yahoo.com.cn at the
same time, Font Arial 12,in a Windows compatible
programme. |

Participants are
required to make a 15-minute class presentation of the prepared
materials and be to ready for a “Q & A” session. |
