Section A: Shanghai Museum & Nanjing Road Half Day Tour

Shanghai Museum located in the People’s Square, has a very unique exterior design. It comprises of a square base covered with a round dome representing a round heaven over square land. The museum is divided into eleven galleries and three exhibition halls. The eleven Galleries cover most of the major types of Chinese art: Ancient Bronze, Ancient Ceramics, Paintings, Calligraphy, Ancient Sculpture, Ancient Jade, Coins, Ming and Qing Furniture, Seals, and Minority Nationalities.

China’s first and most famous shopping street stretches 3.4-miles along Nanjing Road, starting at the Bund in the east and ends in the west at the junction of Jing’an Temple and West Yan’an Road. Today Nanjing Road is a must-see destination attracting thousands of tourists and shoppers from all over the world.
